Sealife Collection
The sealife collection includes placemats, a table runner, pillow and ottoman. Each created of burlap fabric, made from the jute plant. Jute has a fast growing cycle which increases its renewability. And when cultivating jute, there is almost no need for pesticides or herbicides. And burlap is 100% biodegradable.
The insert for each pillow (included) is filled with a fiber, spun from recycled plastic bottles. And yes, it's super soft and comfortable. By using the fiber of plastic bottles, we are reducing the unnecessary wastes in our landfills.
The ottoman is cushion is a soy based foam which means less petroleum is used in the manufacturing. Less petroleum usage is always better for the earth. A portion of the wood used in manufacturing the ottoman is made from formaldehyde free, non toxic adhesives and sustainable wood resources.
